Lorem Express does not collect any personal data. The extension runs entirely on your device and never sends any information to external servers. We have no analytics, no telemetry, and no user accounts.

2. Locally Stored Data

The extension stores a small amount of data locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage API (chrome.storage.sync and chrome.storage.local). This data includes:

• Default Unit Preference — Your chosen unit (words, sentences, or paragraphs) is saved so you don't have to set it every time.
• Force Activation Setting — Whether the "Force Activation" option is enabled or disabled.
• Open Counter — A simple numeric counter that tracks how many times the modal has been opened, used exclusively to determine when to show a non-intrusive "Buy Me a Coffee" donation prompt. This counter is stored locally and is never transmitted anywhere.

None of this data ever leaves your device. It is never sent to us or any third party.

3. Third-Party Services

Lorem Express does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only external link within the extension is a voluntary "Buy Me a Coffee" donation link, which opens in a new tab and is subject to Buy Me a Coffee's own privacy policy.

4. Google Chrome Web Store

Lorem Express is distributed through the Chrome Web Store, which is operated by Google. The installation, activation, deactivation, and removal of the extension are managed entirely by Google Chrome and are subject to Google's Privacy Policy. We have no access to any information that Google may collect in relation to your use of the Chrome browser or the Web Store.
